One of the conditions attached to the retirement extension on my Non-Immigrant O Thai Visa is that I must report to the Thai Immigration Police every 90 days. The process itself is very simple.
Before reporting to the local Thai Immigration post at Singkhon (Singkorn) complete a TM47 form which effectively confirms who I am, the date I last entered Thailand (not necessarily the date I last reported) and the address I reside at. I usually include a copy of my passport main page, departure card and current retirement extension stamp.
Once at the immigration post it is a simple case of presenting your passport and completed TM 47 along with the photocopies I mentioned if required.
This morning I visited the post at Singkhon since my reporting date was due on the 16th which is a Sunday and the post is not open. So rather than arrive a day late I decided to complete the task a couple of days early. No problem here and my next reporting date is still 90 days from Sunday.
Today when I arrived no one else was there, as usual I was treated courteously and the whole 90 day reporting procedure lasted about 10 mins which left plenty of time for MTF and myself to head into Prachuap for some grocery shopping.

Mike, yep my 90 day is coming up soon too and they are so use to me after 5 years that sometings I am even offered a cup of coffee, still even tho they are really nice after all this time and mostly the same folks , my stomach gets little butterflies for some unknown reason, but I am glad for all the precaution they take, to know who is living and who is just visitimg the LOS.Makes me feel good knowing that not just anybody can call this paradise their home. Malcolm
Malcolm I am the same I always get butterflies whenever I have to go. Guess its because Thai immigration can be unpredictable.
