Google seem to be aware of the problem but to date have not fixed it. Well I have come up with my own fix for the MTF feed which now appears to be functioning. I simply changed the original feed address in Feedburner to MTF's current published feed. However I am now concerned that if a reader subscribed before I purchased the custom domain that they might not receive feed updates.
OK this is where you come in, hopefully if you subscribe to MTF you will now receive this post, of course if things are not corrected then you won't! Anyway please let me know by the comments section if 1) you received this post via a feed and 2) if you are having similar problems.
Unfortunately I see this as another example of the big G acting like mushroom farmers and I guess you know what conditions mushrooms thrive in.
Just hope the comment feed is working!

Mike , I was wondering what was up with no post for a few days , but now you are coming thru loud and clear different background colors but you're here in all you glory , welcome back, glad you figured it out Malcolm
It's working through Google Reader.
I subscribe via Google Feed. I received your last three posts all together at 12.23 central European time and now I am able to read this post so it looks like the problem is solved. Nice blog by the way, I have read for some time but this is the first comment.
Then I know why there are no new posts from you for the last few days.
Your feedburner is working right now.
I completely lost my own "subscribe in a reader" feed a couple of days ago, it kept showing line error. I took off recently upgraded plugins and reinstalled some of them but with no result. I have now corrected the problem upon discovering that in my second recent post the inserted AdSense block had mysteriously changed to a garbled code. Touchwood everything seems okay again, glad to hear yours is to.
I'm getting the feed as well. i have it in Google reader.
